Workouts for building muscle may, at the outset, look like it’s within the exclusive realm of the youth. The intensity of the workouts looks a little bit intimidating to those who are more senior and who have not engaged in physical workouts. Most old people hesitate to start weight training or even those simple workouts because the reason forwarded is always “I’m too old to start”. But how old is old when it comes to physical fitness?
Apparently, age is not a limitation for physical fitness. While it is true that the young body could take pressure and intensity very well and it can recover faster, bodies of older people could take as much when done gradually. Of course, you have to start slowly and build your progress gradually until you will be able to take in more intensity. The advantage of engaging in physical fitness activities even at a later stage in life is that you age gracefully. Your effort will manifest itself in your physical appearance and it will be a beautiful display of age.
